OUR SAFETY PATROL MEMBERS SUPPORT A SAFE AND ORDERLY ENVIRONMENT BY ASSISTING OUR STUDENTS DURING MORNING AND AFTERNOON DISMISSAL. ADDITIONALLY, OUR WARRENVILLE CARES CLUB ENCOURAGES STUDENTS TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH MEANINGFUL SERVICE LEARNING PROJECTS. GIVING BACK. WE ENCOURAGE OUR STUDENTS IN HOUSE WARS, WHICH TALENT CHALLENGED THEM TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH ACTS OF SERVICE, THROUGH OUR BE A BUDDY PROGRAM WHICH IS CURRENTLY GOING ON. SOME OF OUR STUDENTS HAVE VOLUNTEERED BY RINGING THE BELL FOR THE SALVATION ARMY, AND WE ARE CURRENTLY PARTNERING WITH OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO CREATE A BLESSING BOX. ADDITIONALLY, WHEN A NEW BABY IS BORN AT WARRENVILLE ELEMENTARY, OUR STUDENTS SELECT A BOOK FOR THE SIBLING TO HELP WELCOME THEM TO OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY. FAMILY INVOLVEMENT. ALL OF THESE THINGS ARE BEYOND ATHLETICS OR SPORT, BUT EXACTLY THE LASTING IMPACT A COACH LEAVES ON THE LIFE OF A YOUNG PERSON. WHEN MY SON FOUND OUT ABOUT COACH PAT'S TERMINATION, HE ASKED ME WHAT HE COULD DO BECAUSE THIS JUST WASN'T RIGHT. HE WAS THERE. HE WITNESSED THE ENTIRE SITUATION.
