IN SCENARIO 2, THIS DRAW STUDENTS FROM ONLY PAUL KNOX AND NORTH AUGUSTA ONLY IMPACTING AREA 2. AND IF THOSE STUDENTS TO REZONE FROM THE CURRENT MIDDLE-SCHOOL, THEY ALSO ONLY MOVE TO HIGHLANDS SPRINGS, BUT IT DOES KEEP NORTH AUGUSTA MIDDLE-SCHOOL NON-CONTIGUOUS. THERE WE GO. SO IN SCENARIO 1, CURRENT BOUNDARIES, AS YOU CAN SEE HERE ON YOUR LEFT, YOU MOVE OVER TO THE RIGHT AND YOU'LL FIND THAT IT SPLITS AREAS 2 AND 3. MY ISSUE WITH ONE THAT I LIKE IS THAT IT INVOLVES BOTH AREAS, TWO AND THREE AND IT DISRUPTS THE LEAST AMOUNT OF STUDENTS. IF WE INVOLVE TWO AND THREE, IT ONLY LEAVES TWO CHOICES. THAT'S ONE OR FIVE. I'M GLAD THAT DR. RICHARDS PUT THE NUMBERS UP TONIGHT BECAUSE IT SHOWS THAT FIVE DOUBLES PRETTY MUCH THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS THAT WOULD BE DISLOCATED AND MOVED AROUND. THAT MOVEMENT DOES NOT EVEN MEAN THAT THEY'RE GOING TO THE NEW SCHOOL. FOR ME, ONE IS A WINNER BECAUSE IT DISRUPTS THE LEAST NUMBER OF STUDENTS. THE STUDENTS GET TO STAY AT THEIR CURRENT MIDDLE SCHOOL WITHOUT HAVING TO GO TO ANOTHER MIDDLE SCHOOL WHERE THEY DON T KNOW THE TEACHERS, THEY DON THE KNOW THE HALLWAYS, THEY'VE LOST A GROUP OF THEIR FRIENDS, JUST THAT WHOLE SCENARIO. LOOKING AT THE NEW SHEET THAT WE GOT CONCERNING THE TRANSPORTATION, IT'S GOING TO IMPROVE THE DISTANCE AND THE TIME GETTING TO AND FROM SCHOOL OVERALL FOR THE STUDENTS. I LIKE ONE.
